Tryouts

TRYOUT STRUCTURE:

Regional tryouts will be held throughout the month of May. Teams will be formed according to MAHA’s seven existing regions (see map below). An independent evaluation team will host tryouts and draft players to teams. Teams will then be assigned a coach. All divisions (boys and girls) will tryout on their region’s tryout date.

Tryout fee is $40
*Fee only covers the cost to tryout.

Divisions: High School (Girls & Boys), 14U (Girls & Boys), 12U and 10U

TRYOUT DATES:

Specific tryout times for each age group will be determined the Tuesday before the tryout date.

Tryout Times

An email will be sent out to all registered players. Onsite registration will be available.

At-large Tryout Times

10:00 AM: 10U
11:00 AM: 12U
12:00 PM: 14U Boys & 14U Girls
1:00 PM: HS Boys and HS Girls


At large tryout

If you are unable to make the date of your region’s tryout, you can register to tryout for the at large team.

If you do not make your region’s team, you can attend the at large tryout (athletes only need to pay the tryout fee once). Please contact State Games Event Director Julie at jshields@stategamesofmichigan.com if you have already attended a tryout and would like to attend the at large tryout.
