Luge
If you enjoy sledding, then this one is for you. This event is perfect for individuals and families who are concerned about equipment and experience. Participants will learn on-site and be given a chance to go for gold. All equipment is provided and athletes will get 3 practice runs before they’re timed. Competitors then get to tell their friends and family that they went on the only full-length natural luge track in the United States!

Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Canadian athletes are welcome to participate in the Marquette Winter Games.

EVENT DETAILS
Participants receive 3 practice runs followed by 2 runs for time.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three in each division and gender.
Medals will be mailed out to participants following the Saturday runs.
Wear warm clothing, but nothing extremely bulky.
Bring warm clothing to wear between runs/while resting!
All equipment, including cleats, will be provided.
You may bring your own helmet if it has ear coverings.
Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
Participants may show up anytime during the allotted time above to do the course.
This track is the only natural luge track in North America - be sure to have fun and enjoy the experience!
