Pita Way Providing Volunteer Meals At The 2025 Meijer State Games of Michigan Summer Games
Pita Way’s Support, alongside Peppino’s Pizza, will help feed over 800 volunteers
Pita Way is amplifying their growth in West Michigan and the state at large by joining the Meijer State Games of Michigan and providing volunteer meals during the 2025 Summer Games.
Founded in 2010 in Clarkston, Michigan, Pita Way aims to serve the communities they operate in by providing delicious, convenient, and healthy Mediterranean food. They have grown at a rapid pace with now having 40 stores operating primarily in Michigan, but with locations also in Ohio and Indiana. Their mission to provide nourishing food that is also tasty resonates with the Meijer State Games of Michigan’s goal of supporting local organizations, their volunteers, and the efforts of all to make Michigan a healthier state.
With this partnership, both Pita Way and Peppino’s Pizza will help feed over 800 volunteers, fueling the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make events like this happen every day.
“Pita Way is excited to be working alongside the Meijer State Games of Michigan to provide meals to those who deserve it most: volunteers. Without volunteers, these events likely wouldn’t be able to happen. We understand the need for sporting events like this one, as it helps provide not only an outlet for healthy activities but strengthens our communities in a way only sports can do.” says Henry Shaotha, the General Manager of the Walker and Wyoming locations. “We also look forward to the opportunity to get Pita Way in front of people who may not have heard of us yet, and show them how great our food is.”
