Spectators, athletes, parents, family, friends, volunteers, etc. can enter the contest.

Each person can submit up to 3 photos or video highlight (60 seconds max) into the contest.

You must submit your own work. Parents/Guardians can submit photos/videos on behalf of minors. Photos can be submitted to info@stategamesofmichigan.com

No pre-registration required.

Submissions will be accepted after the first event. Photos will be due July 1st, 2019.

Terms:

Submitting photos or videos for the contest gives the West Michigan Sports Commission (WMSC) and the Michigan Sports Alliance (MISA) the right to copy and freely use the photos or videos, including advertising or publicity purposes, without any compensation. The photo copyright or video copyright remains with the photographer, but signing the release form, gives us the right to use them.

Minors (under 18 years old) can submit photos/videos to the contest but will need parent/guardian permission and signature on terms.

Photos/Videos can be taken via cell phone, dslr, video camera, action camera, point-in-shoot, etc., but must be of good quality and appropriate for the Games (please no blurry photos/videos).

Photos/Videos can be taken of any aspect of the Games: ie action shot, medal photo, etc.

The Meijer State Games of Michigan will post the top photos/videos (The quality and number of entries will dictate how many “top” photos will be posted for voting).

Likes, comments/replies and shares/retweets will be counted as votes (please note: likes/comments/shares must show up on the original post to count). The combined total from Facebook (reactions, comments, shares), Twitter (likes, comments and retweets) and Instagram (likes and comments) will determine the winner.

There will be one week of voting.

Only the top photo/video from an individual photographer will count for awards (one individual cannot win all three awards).

The WMSC and MISA reserve the right to not post all photos/videos or eliminate any photos/videos that are deemed inappropriate or of poor quality.
