Meijer State Games draws rave reviews from players and coaches

Coaches, fans and players who participated in the hockey portion of the Meijer State Games of Michigan June 24-27 gave the event rave reviews.

Games among the eight participating teams were played at Walker Ice and Fitness Center, East Kentwood Ice Arena and Griff's Icehouse in Grand Rapids.

Todd Bell, who coaches high school hockey at East Kentwood, had the coaching duties with Team West, which wound up taking the bronze medal. read more
