Inaugural Meijer State Games of Michigan gets positive reviews; growth expected next year

Al Mitchell participated in two Olympics, serving as head coach of the U.S. boxing team that included Floyd Mayweather at the 1996 Atlanta Games and then as Team USA's technical adviser at the 2004 Athens Games. He ranks both among the proudest moments of his career.

The inaugural Meijer State Games of Michigan are right up there on his list.
