BMX riders compete in Grand Haven during State Games of Michigan

GRAND HAVEN -- Grand Haven turned into “Grind Haven” Saturday as Grand Haven State Park hosted the debut of BMX freestyle as a Meijer State Games event.

With the beach and the Big Lake in the backdrop and riders of all ages maneuvering the quarter pipes and grind rails, the skate park looked more Orange County than Ottawa County.
